Pentaphonic Brass
Gegründet im Jahr 2004, gehört Pentaphonic Brass zu den wenigen professionellen Blechbläserquintetten im Großraum Rhein-Ruhr.
Das Ensemble tritt in klassischer Quintettbesetzung mit zwei Trompeten, Horn, Posaune und Tuba auf. Je nach Projekt und Anlass arbeitet Pentaphonic Brass mit erfahrenen professionellen Musiker*innen zusammen und kann so flexibel auf unterschiedliche Programme, Räume und Veranstaltungsformate reagieren.
Die musikalische und künstlerische Auseinandersetzung mit der Aura verschiedener Orte und Umgebungen ist bei Pentaphonic Brass zu einem besonderen Profil geworden. So gab es Konzerte und Auftritte unter anderem für die Deutsche Lufthansa im Düsseldorfer Flughafen, im Industrieclub Düsseldorf, in freier Natur und in Kirchen.
Mit einer Konzertreise im mittleren Westen der USA hat das Ensemble im Herbst 2008 erstmals internationale Konzertpodien betreten.
